Most Dangerous Weapons of the Future

Forcefields, ray guns, and laser guns.  Watch out future.

1. “Trophy” Vehicle Force Fields

This will disrupt the future of ground warfare.  This system is currently in advanced development and has been implemented on certain Israeli tanks.  The “Trophy Advanced Protective System” works by putting out advanced radar detection signals from all angles of the vehicle.  Once any sort missile comes into its personal bubble, the system tracks, classifies and destroys it.  And don’t worry, it can hit more than one at a time.

2. Metal Storm Guns – A Million Rounds Per Second

I have no idea how large it would have to be to fit one million rounds, not to mention how much it would cost to buy a million rounds then use them all in one second.  But it can do that.  Pretty much this weapon would be amazing for anti-missile defense or for overkill.

3. Ray Guns

Even though this weapon is non-lethal and meant more for riot control situations (which would be very relevant somewhere known as the middle east now a days), I still would be pretty scared to get hit by a burning heat ray.  It is also very useful for getting civilians quickly out of the way.  But who knows maybe they will make a smaller scale version and it can be used on students.

4. Corner Guns

This is already in play, but not mainstream enough for soldiers and SWAT as far as I can tell.  As a criminal I couldn’t really imagine even trying to hold down a building against this, especially if your only hope is hitting a the video camera.  Pretty self-explanatory, pretty awesome.

5. Laser Guns

Finally a reality.  Whether it is the M-Thel or the Airborne Boeing Laser these sci-fi reality weapons will be essential and lethal in next generation warfare.  The M-Thel in the video shoots down 3 mortars, so yes it is showing its defensive capabilities, but imagine what they have in store for it offensively.  I can’t think of anything that can beat a lethal laser with pinpoint accuracy… besides a larger and more powerful laser with pinpoint accuracy.

6. Futuristic Warrior Suits

Lets start off with present day, the XOS 2 by Ratheon, the beginning of turning humans into robot warriors and ironmen:

A picture of what the 2020 concept warrior suit may look like is below.  It is basically the same concept as the XOS 2, but will be lighter, stronger, more flexible, and way cooler looking.  This is basically the movie GI Joe coming to life, and probably over a million dollars per suit.
